Letter to the PresidentIncrease your support for TB Joshua Orphanage and its Church in Juba

Dear President Salva Kiir Mayardit, Happy New Year! May the New Year bring you joy, special focus, good health and prosperity to all your people!

Mr President, the last time I wrote to you a letter was in 2011 – published by the now defunct Citizen Newspaper. In that letter, I urged you to focus on development, bite off corrupt hands and make South Sudan great beyond the expectations of those people who doubted that South Sudan will be plunged into wars, corruption and lack of development. We all now know where it has all ended.

I am writing this time to bring to your attention the issue of the Senior TB Joshua Church to which you directed the Central Equatoria government to allocate a good piece of land for the orphanage and the church in the suburb of Gudele 2 residential area.

Due to the lowness of the area, that piece of land, collects rainwater and children have been sleeping in water or the cold until mid-last year when you again gave your support. The help you gave has improved the living conditions at least to a level of about 5% and the church and your orphans are very pleased with you; and are always praying for your good health, discernment and wisdom.

Right now the church is an open roof, orphans have no food, accommodation is stiff, no Dispensary, toilets are shallow, clean drinking water scarce, with no cash at hand. The congregation is poor, so only you, Mr President as the child of God, can give meaningful support to the orphans and the church, whose foundation was laid by your brother in Christ, the late senior Prophet, TB Joshua.

Your brother in Christ, Senior Prophet TB Joshua may have left the world, but the foundation stone he laid in service of the orphans of South Sudan is still alive, and for this reason, it needs your unwavering and meaningful support – even your visit to Prophet TB Joshua Orphanage can give it legitimacy, and may trigger untold support from charity organizations, who believe in humanity, and the idea of the church raising a generation of God-fearing citizens of South Sudan in all their diversity. The TB Joshua home has become a home for orphans, the elderly, the homeless, the sick, widows and widowers, most of whom come from Upper Nile, Bahr el Ghazal and Equatoria regions. The languages spoken at the TB Joshua orphanage are English Language and Arabic language – most of the orphans are forgetting their mother tongues because they have been taught to avoid sitting/grouping according to their languages – this is the true meaning of South Sudanese-ness.

The young Prophet Peter AD has to work round the clock, asking for alms left and right to support the orphans by feeding them and providing them with medication, also to provide them with school materials, incentivize the teachers and complete the roofing of the house of God. Starting from mid-year last year – around June, several government dignitaries, including governors of Central Equatoria and Warrap State, have visited the TB Joshua home of orphans, and they have given their handouts. For a huge orphanage such as the one of the late senior Prophet TB Joshua in South Sudan, small help here and there cannot sustain the orphanage. It is in need a comprehensive decision to bring these orphans out of suffering, building classrooms, building dormitories, an orphanage clinic etc – the decision can be orchestrated by the head of State; and I am appealing to you, Mr President, to give a helping hand, in a comprehensive way to TB Joshua Orphans of South Sudan.

As the saying goes, seeing is believing, if you take time to visit Prophet TB Joshua Orphanage, you will be moved to tears, and perhaps you will ask, why you have not been adequately informed of the work subtly entrusted to you by your late brother in Christ, the servant of God, Senior Prophet TB Joshua. For sure, TB Joshua knows how kind you are, and he knows that even though he has left the world physically, his spirit hovers over his orphans, in the hope that they will not starve or fail to study because this country is led by President Salva Kiir who loves all his South Sudanese people, especially those who cannot help themselves.

In conclusion, Mr President, TB Joshua's home of orphans and Stone International Church, currently under Prophet Peter AD, the one anointed by TB Joshua to run the TB Joshua church and related affairs such as philanthropy/orphanage, here in South Sudan, have been acknowledging your contribution from time to time. The church and the orphanage acknowledge that it was your effort that they now have land; it is your effort that now they have zinc classrooms, and it is your effort that, at times they have something to eat, or some medicines to cure their illnesses. As you already know, the church is one of the most powerful elements in good governance, I am urging you, Mr President to give special attention to Stone International Church, in remembrance of your friend, Senior Prophet TB Joshua, and the TB Joshua Home for the TB Joshua orphans of South Sudan.

Let Love Lead!!

Yours sincerely
