MAN BEHIND MISSION
Africa World Books Community Education was founded by Peter Deng, who also founded Africa World Books. His drive to create both of these businesses was rooted in his desire to maintain a strong connection to his homeland while uniting the community in Australia, and encouraging progress and success. He has access to a large network of experts and professionals and wants to reach a wide range of Africans, from all ages, classes, and education levels. It’s all about supporting, informing, and educating the South Sudanese and African population of Australia. He supports emerging African authors, established ones, and beyond. We’re better together.
WHAT DO WE DO?
African World Books Community Education aims to educate, inform, and support. There is a large African community living in Australia, and there are stories to share, education to impart, and information to offer. AWBCE is an educational service that provides a platform for experts to share their knowledge with those who need it most. From events to Facebook live seminars, we offer a wide range of resources to community members in search of African and Sudanese education. Our culture is wide and varied, and it’s something that we feel should be shared with a wider community. Whether it’s fellow Australians who want to learn more or the African community within Australia who want to offer their children insight into their culture and traditions, we offer workshops and social media events.
