Is Rin Tueny Mabor a Face of Fear or Peace?

At the dawn of the 18th of January, 2023, I dreamt of Rin Tueny Mabor at Panyagoor. I am not sure why he was there, but around him was calmness and peace. People were busy doing their business with no security concerns. I could see farmers cultivating and moving freely as usual. There were signs of life and development everywhere. People were thrilled and felt protected.

The questions are: Will President Kiir transfer Governor Rin to Jonglei and stay at Twi East headquarters? Is Governor Rin planning to visit the area soon? Will the president be integrated or randomly redeploy governors to any state across South Sudan? Since the president can now remove and appoint government officials, I would like to see all governors mixed and redeployed to different states to reduce corruption, tribalism, and nepotism and increase accountability. Shall the governor be our next president? God knows.

I support the random designation of governors to different states, just as Dr. John Garang had intended. We should switch all the governors immediately for national stability; tribes and regional governors are not helping. Church leaders must rotate bishops if they want peace in their congregations. As all ministries are full of families or individuals linked to ministers, we should filter them by using DNA to eliminate corruption. Tribalism is ruining our national fabric and standards. I encourage GOSS officials not to fear qualified, brave, honest, and diligent staff. They should be employed on merit and engage capable teams with integrity for better system transparency and accountability to assign the right people to critical positions. This is the dream of the chief, Peter Deng.
