Africa World Books acknowledges the Nuer community of Western Australia for organising a fantastic farewell function for the 2019 year 12 graduates. The graduates were thrilled and honoured to be joined by their community in celebration of their achievements.
The Rumbek community hosted a well-attended new year’s party featuring beautiful traditional dancing and great speeches.
At this busy exhibition event, Africa World Books held a stall, where we sold some of our favourite titles. Children came and began to read, learning more about South Sudanese culture.
We at Africa World Books believe that young people will appreciate and benefit from the dedication, commitment, and storytelling efforts made by our authors. We hope that the children who began to read our books will continue to do so and will embrace books as a key form of storytelling.
